What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of the qualification is to provide the surveying profession with assistant surveyors, who have the skills and knowledge to work safely in the surveying profession, collect basic survey information and present it in a range of useable forms, and apply practical surveying skills under supervision.

This is an entry level qualification designed for people commencing their career in the surveying profession.
