The purpose of this qualification is to provide the environmental management sector with individuals who have in-depth skills and knowledge required to work in this field .
This qualification is targeted at people who have some expertise in an area of environmental studies and wish to develop further .
Aotearoa/ New Zealand will benefit from having graduates who have specific knowledge of ecosystems, and how they are influenced by human activities, allowing for informed environmental management.
