- New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Engineering (Level 3) [Ref: 3097], or equivalent skills and knowledge.
Recommended:
- A current workplace first aid certificate prior to enrolment in a programme leading to this qualification; and
- A Class 4 licence achieved before completion of a programme leading to this qualification.
