What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the commercial fishing sector with people who are able to work as experienced commercial fishing operators involved in commercial fishing operations including fish handling in an in-shore or deep-water environment.

This qualification is suitable for individuals who are employed in the commercial fishing industry.

Graduates will be capable of working in a self-managed capacity and will have some responsibility for the performance of others.
