What can I expect out of this qualification?
This qualification will provide New Zealand with individuals who are able to officiate at competitions within a specified code or sport.
Graduates can apply their sport specific knowledge and officiating skills to officiate at sport competitions.
Graduates will contribute to the health, cultural, social and economic wellbeing of Aotearoa New Zealand.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
Required to be New Zealand residents or citizens, have achieved a minimum secondary school standard of Level 2 NCEA or equivalent, and be 18 years of age or older. Students 17 years of age will be accepted only if signed parental approval has been received. All applicants for the programme are required to attend an interview and be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. For all students, including those for whom English is not their first language, a minimum of Level 2 Literacy - (TEC Assessment) is required.
