Entry requirements

All students (domestic and international) must:
* Have completed an undergraduate degree in any discipline.
* Be able to demonstrate equivalent practical, professional or educational experience.
* Be New Zealand citizens, permanent residents or have the requisite visa for study purposes.
* Be able to demonstrate adequate literacy and/or numeracy skills to enable them to meet all academic and health and safety requirements of the programme/course on which they enrol.
All applicants to the programme who do not have English, te reo Māori or New Zealand Sign Language as their first language, or who did not undertake their secondary schooling in English must provide evidence of having achieved an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of 6.0 in each academic band: reading, listening, writing and speaking with no band score lower than 5.5.

The Graduate Diploma in Mentoring and Professional Leadership is a qualification designed to prepare graduates to seek roles within their area of expertise where there are leadership and/or mentoring opportunities. Students will develop knowledge and skills in critical reflection of their practice within the context of mentoring and leadership.
