What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide Aotearoa New Zealand with graduates who have foundation skills and knowledge related to creative writing principles and processes, and an understanding of professional practice within the writing sector.
The qualification is for Level 3 school leavers, for returning students, and for those seeking to gain basic skills to further their own writing projects or to work as freelance operators.
Graduates will be able to work at an entry/supervised level in various writing/assistant roles within the industry or to work on their own writing projects.
