This qualification is designed to provide the beauty sector with skin care and makeup technicians who have the foundation skills and knowledge to provide a range of makeup and skin care services.

This qualification is intended for learners who will benefit by having a qualification which provides makeup and skin care competencies, skills and knowledge.

The beauty sector will benefit by having people with the skills and knowledge to competently undertake a range of makeup and skin care services within a variety of workplaces.

Graduates will be capable of working with limited supervision in a makeup and skin care context.
