What can I expect out of this qualification?

The qualification is intended for people seeking to develop a broad range of skills required to support and participate in the practice of wairua within marae communities.
The qualification meets the need of whānau, hapū, iwi, communities and other entities wanting to grow capacity, capability and knowledge within their communities to manage, lead and sustain the practice of wairua in their marae communities.
Graduates of this qualification will be able to apply a broad range of skills necessary to support their whānau, hapū, iwi and/or marae communities in improving the practice of wairua within their community. They will also take responsibility for their knowledge and skills of how to participate in the practice of wairua within their marae communities.
