Entry requirements
Academic entry requirement -
Successfully completed a bachelor's degree in any field excluding the field of the
graduate diploma.
OR
Successfully completed a Level 6 or 7 Diploma and relevant work and/or life
experience (equivalent to a Bachelors' Degree).
OR
Evidence of equivalent practical, professional or educational experience. E.g. 3 - 5
years full time work experience relevant to the business studies. Note: For the
Graduate Diploma in Accounting you are required to have experience and/or
knowledge of introductory accounting principles and practices as a minimum.
AND
Have English language competence to undertake this programme which is taught and
assessed in English. Any applicants whose first language is not English may be
required to provide evidence of an overall IELTS (Academic) band score of 6.0 (with
no score below 5.5) or equivalent.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
The aim of the graduate diploma is to produce high quality graduates who have a sound understanding of the dynamic and changing environment in which managers operate in New Zealand and internationally, that will enable them to apply that knowledge at both organisational and strategic levels in a range of industries and organisations. On reaching the workplace, graduates will have current specialised knowledge and be able to integrate into their workplace environment quickly, having already spent time through their course of study in a work context applying the knowledge and skills of the curriculum.
