Good Practice Guidelines, New Zealand Security Association (2019);
NZ Government Protective Security Requirements;
Crimes Act 1961;
Health and Safety at Work Act 2015;
Private Security Personnel and Private Investigators Act 2010;
Sale and Supply of Liquor Act 2012;
Summary Offences Act 1981;
Trespass Act 1980;
and all subsequent amendments or replacements.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide New Zealand with individuals who have obtained advanced operational and technical skills, experience, knowledge and performance for the security sector.
The qualification is suitable for people who intend to operate in higher level roles within the security sector.
Graduates will be capable of carrying out security work under minimal or no supervision in the security environment.
