What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the adventure tourism industry with people who are able to work immediately as specialist operators, supervisors or team leaders within an adventure tourism environment. Work readiness is ensured through a compulsory full time paid internship.
The qualification will benefit the community by enhancing operator requirements and entrepreneurial knowledge within the adventure tourism industry.
Graduates will be able to work autonomously in a range of dynamic adventure tourism environments, with responsibilities for the management, development and learning of others.
