About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The overall strategic purpose of this programme is to advance management expertise, widen employment opportunities and improve effectiveness in management roles.
The programme is unique in that it provides advanced qualifications in applied management, with industry electives or pathways which have been developed to match key labour market needs and characteristics of the Nelson and Marlborough region in particular.
This combination of practical and applied study, as well as advanced theory and work-based learning is strongly aligned with NMIT's role in providing work-ready graduates and its objective to develop and retain skilled applied management professionals in the regions served by NMIT.
This programme is designed to be directly relevant not just to larger private and public organisations, but also to the self-employed, and the smaller organisations and businesses which employ the majority of people in the Nelson and Marlborough regions.
