The purpose of this qualification is to provide the marine industry with people who are able to operate as technicians specialising in servicing and repair on power boat engines and other systems.

This is an entry-level qualification for people intending to enter or who are already working in the marine industry.

Graduates of this qualification will be able to work in a range of unsupervised roles in servicing and repair on power boat engines and other systems.
