Entry requirements

Academic Entry requirements:
An Undergraduate Degree (with the exception of the Open Polytechnic's Bachelor of Information Technology), or equivalent.
Domestic language entry requirements:
If English or Māori is the not the applicant's first language, candidates will need an IELTS academic score of 6.0 with no band score lower than 5.5, or equivalent.
International English language entry requirements:
Students without prior IT knowledge, qualifications or experience may be required to complete other courses prior to enrolling in the Graduate Certificate.

The aim of this qualification is to allow learners to develop and/or broaden their expertise in IT by studying a field suited to their current experience and/or qualifications. The qualification is designed on an individual basis allowing learners to select courses to suit their specific needs, interests, and professional development goals.
