Entry requirements
An Undergraduate Degree (with the exception of the Open Polytechnic's Bachelor of Information Technology) or equivalent.
OR
Successful completion of OP7095 Graduate Certificate in Information Technology
If English is the not the applicant's first language, candidates will need a minimum IELTS academic score of 6.0 with no band score lower than 5.5, or equivalent.
Students without prior IT knowledge, qualifications or experience may be required to complete other courses prior to enrolling in the Graduate Diploma.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
The aim of this qualification is to allow students to broaden their knowledge and expertise by carrying out a significant body of study in an IT related subject area. Students will study a specialist field such as suited to their current experience and/or qualifications. Different pathways of study will be available for students to choose from depending on their specific needs, interests, and professional development goals.
Graduates of the Graduate Diploma in Information Technology will have built on their existing knowledge base, skills and professionalism by developing technical and conceptual thinking in a specialist area of information technology.
