New Zealand Certificate in Diving (Level 3) [Ref: 3886] or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills.

About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

This qualification will provide the New Zealand dive industries with multi-skilled specialty dive instructors. Graduates will have the skills and knowledge to independently instruct and assess open water divers, and to independently instruct and assess recreational SCUBA divers in the use of a range of specialised equipment and techniques, and the management of diving emergency situations.

Graduates will also be able to coordinate retail, and plan, prepare and lead dive training operations for a dive facility operation.
