What can I expect out of this qualification?
To fill skills gaps and ensure professional development people credited with this micro-credential are able to: apply safe working practices and professional standards when installing kitchens; demonstrate knowledge of the materials, components and hardware used in kitchens; interpret working drawings and specifications for kitchen installation; demonstrate knowledge of the procedures for installing kitchens; prepare for kitchen installation; use tools and equipment to install kitchens; and install kitchens.
Completion of this micro-credential package will gain learners the skills and knowledge for on-site installation and could encourage learners into the full joinery qualification should candidates move into joinery factory production. Some recognition of prior learner can be applied should this occur.
