Entry requirements

1.1 Admission An applicant may be granted admission to study in a level 7 qualification with ECNZ under one of the following categories: * Applicants must meet University Entrance requirements or equivalent as defined by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA). * An applicant who is over 20 years of age and who does not meet the admission qualification regulations may be accepted for admission where they can demonstrate preparedness for study and qualification equivalency through work/voluntary experience. * An applicant whose first or primary language is other than English (EAL) or te reo Maori will be required to have attained a band score of 6.0 with no category lower than 5.5, for each component of the academic version of IELTS (International English Language Testing System). 1.2 Entry Requirements In order to enrol to study with ECNZ in the B.Ed (ECE) an applicant must provide evidence of meeting the required entry criteria for their chosen programme of study. Once accepted into the programme, enrolment will be subject to confirmation pending satisfactory completion of enrolment requirements as follows: * An enrolment form * An agreement to abide by ECNZ's information and communications technology (ICT) rules * Payment of all study fees Additional for International students: * Evidence of appropriate Visa * Evidence of appropriate insurance policies for travel and health * Evidence of satisfactory English proficiency requirements Failure to satisfactorily complete the enrolment process within ECNZ's designated timeframe may lead to cancellation of enrolment.
