What can I expect out of this qualification?

This qualification provides a versatile programme of study for students who wish to enter the world of business and management in a number of discipline areas; namely:
- Accounting
- Business Analysis and Knowledge Management
- Marketing and Sales
- Supply Chain and Logistics Management
- Tourism Management
The focus of the degree is on applied business and management in those fields, and the development of skills and knowledge that are valued in a range of occupations and professions and in the wider community. The incorporation of industry-focused or industry-based projects develops specific skills in Business and Management or a specific discipline as well as transferable skills needed for collaborative and entrepreneurial work. Students will graduate with an expectation of ongoing change throughout their careers, and with the skills, attributes and capability to adapt to such changes.
There is also an option within the degree that provides students the opportunity to pursue an academic pathway that meets the educational requirement for membership of the Chartered Accountants Association of Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ). Students completing this pathway apply to CAANZ for membership.
