Entry requirements
Registered health professional/counsellor, NZ practicing certificate (or equivalent), Bachelor degree (or equivalent) AND employed in relevant clinical service for minimum three days (22.5 hours) per week.
International: IELTS 6.5 (no band lower than 6), or equivalent.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this programme is to provide the health and social sector with graduates who have attained advanced knowledge and scholarship through application of research to their professional practice context in Advanced Paramedic Practice, Paramedic Community Care, Pacific Health Leadership, Palliative Care, Perioperative Nursing, Gerontology, Intellectual Disability, Forensic Practice, Primary Mental Health Care, and Talk Therapies. Each endorsement contributes to the objectives for the tertiary education and health sectors in relationship to their specific/specialty population. The endorsed programme also contributes to the New Zealand Health Strategy which aims to ensure that health workers meet the demand for services that integrate cultural practices, concepts and diverse world views into high-quality, evidence informed health services.
