What can I expect out of this qualification?
This micro-credential is designed to recognise the induction and safe working practice foundation skills and knowledge required to enter the surface mining and quarrying industry, and to provide school students with the opportunity to gain exposure to career opportunities in the surface mining and quarrying industry. The micro-credential is aimed at students from Year 11 to Year 13 who want to experience a hands-on introduction to the mining and quarrying industry.
