Entry requirements
There are no minimum entry requirements although it is expected learners will be working in either a Payroll role or looking to seek employment in Payroll. Learners are also expected to access some learning material online therefore basic skills in computing and internet access is required.

The aims of the Applied Payroll Micro-credential are as follows:
To gain knowledge and skills that are directly relevant to be employed as a Payroll Officer;
To provide foundation level knowledge of the legislative Acts that govern payroll processing in New Zealand;
To produce professional practitioners who are well regarded by employers.
