Entry requirements

Learners will be eligible to enter this micro-credential if they: - Are at least 16 years old, and - Have relevant knowledge in IT/ICT network or systems engineering, administration or related field as evidence that they can succeed in the micro-credential - International applicants must be 18 years or older and have proof that they have gained within the last 2 years, English language skills equivalent to IELTS level 5.5 with no band score lower than 5.

Students who enrol in the online programme will need access to a computer with prescribed basic hardware requirements as per marketing material, a microphone, and a reliable internet connection.

The aim of this micro-credential is to provide technical and theoretical knowledge of cyber security risks, threats and attacks, and to provide skills in testing, planning and responding to security issues.
