Learners must:
- be employed by Secureflight Limited
- hold a current Security Certificate of Approval (COA) - unit standards 27360, 27361, 27364 and
- have completed the Pre-flight Security (Specific Airline Requirements) - Basic Training (Micro-credential).

What can I expect out of this qualification?
This micro-credential is designed to provide the aviation security sector with people who have the specialist skills required to screen and inspect cargo and mail before it is loaded onto aircraft departing on international flights from New Zealand. This work assists in preventing the loading of weapons, explosives, dangerous goods or substances onto passenger and cargo aircraft to meet both New Zealand (Civil Aviation Authority) and international security requirements.
