What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the fencing industry with people who have the knowledge and practical skills to design and construct fences, and interpret a livestock yard design and construct yard to meet client requirements; and the knowledge and skills to lead a team and manage client relationships.
This qualification is targeted at people who are experienced fencers and are at, or moving into a role in a rural fencing enterprise which has responsibility for meeting client fencing requirements.
Graduates will have the skills to work in a self-directed capacity, will have responsibility for the construction of quality rural fences and livestock yards, and will be supervising others.
