Entry requirements

NCEA Level 2 (including Literacy 10 credits at Level 2 and Numeracy 10 Credits at Level 1)
OR
Equivalent academic achievement
OR
On a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Executive Dean

Additional Requirements
All applicants are required to:
a Declare any previous criminal convictions prior to admission being confirmed. Convictions of any offence may not necessarily exclude applicants from enrolment; the decision is at the discretion of the Head of School; and
b Authorise UCOL to obtain a background check from the New Zealand Police Licensing and Vetting Agency; and
c Meet with the Programme Leader (to discuss the programme and call centre industry environment).
International Applicants:
The minimum entry requirement for international students is IELTS General or Academic score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5 (or equivalent including TOEFL).

IELTS scores used must be taken from a single IELTS Test Report Form (ie combining scores from more than one test is not permissible).
In addition to this, international applicants under the age of 20 must have NCEA equivalency (refer to guide held by Business Development International).

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The aim of this programme is to develop an understanding of the contact centre industry and application of key knowledge and practical work skills through in-work training, to ensure effective and compliant contact centre practice to meet industry requirements.
