Entry requirements

Trainees must be 16 years or older and employed in a role that will enable them to achieve the learning outcomes of the micro-credential, including learning support through trainers, verifiers, or supervisors who have expertise working in the field. The trainee must be engaged in a workplace that the TEO is contracted to support, and that provides an authentic workplace for training.
To enrol trainees in this micro-credential, TEO enters into contractual arrangements, through a training agreement, with individual trainees and their employers. These arrangements outline the training and assessment obligations of all the parties.
Trainees require sufficient literacy capability for reading the required learning resources and completing the assessments.

What can I expect out of this qualification?

This micro-credential is designed to provide the infrastructure industry with people who can use close circuit television (CCTV) to inspect non-pressure water services assets.

This micro-credential is for people who inspect and maintain pipe systems, pumping systems, and components that contribute to the collection and disposal of wastewater and stormwater.
