What can I expect out of this qualification?
The aim of this micro-credential is to provide basic knowledge of the human brain and the changes in relation to dementia and to understand how people with dementia are affected and their daily lives are changed.
The student target market for this micro-credential will be primarily for students, whether domestic or international [onshore], who:
- have limited work experience with dementia support, or
- have related healthcare experience or
- are interested to work in specialised dementia units.
