What can I expect out of this qualification?

Graduates from the Postgraduate Diploma of Applied Science will have an advanced level of technical knowledge and critical skills that will enable them to effectively utilise and adapt research to contribute to innovative and improved practices to collaborate with a range of government, Māori through the cognisance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and private organisations to contribute to solving current problems and issues affecting Aotearoa New Zealand and other nations including the Pacific. Graduates from the Postgraduate Diploma of Applied Science with a specialisation in Biodiversity Management will be ethical guardians of biodiversity capable of collaborating with iwi, hapū, and tangata whenua, tikanga Māori, mātauranga Māori and te taiao.
