Entry requirements

Entry criteria: * Basic IT knowledge equivalent to level 5 or above or related work experience. * Able to perform basic IT tasks such as installing software, using operating systems like Windows or Linux, creating a basic network, and supporting its day-to-day routine functions. Selection requirements: * Fulfilment of the entry criteria * No interview unless special circumstances, e.g., partial fulfilment of entry criteria * Challenge test for those wishing to be admitted based on learning gained through experience.

About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

To develop forensic investigation practice of cybercrime and other digital incidents within an organization's network, devices, and data. This involves employing the results of forensic investigations to provide evidence that enhances existing defence efforts or develop new defence strategies to prevent future occurrences. These investigations also address legal and ethical concerns regarding such incidents when addressing the organization's needs and client rights.
