What can I expect out of this qualification?
This micro-credential is for people who are working in Iwi/Māori social services or those who are working in the mainstream social services or related sectors looking at developing their communication and relationship building skills by embedding Te Ao Māori in their practice.
The purpose of this micro-credential is to provide learners with knowledge and skills on the crucial role played by reo, tikanga and kawa in terms of forging, building, and nurturing quality relationships with diverse stakeholders in an Iwi/Māori Social Services environment.
Those who achieve this micro-credential will be able to apply knowledge of whanaungatanga in the context of communication and building and sustaining quality relationships Iwi/Māori Social Services setting.
