Entry requirements
Providers should refer to the below when developing programme entry requirements:
- It is expected that learners/ākonga for this micro-credential will be either employed in the engineering or manufacturing industry or an engineering or manufacturing simulated environment. The provider may be able to assist with placement for those not already in employment.
- Learners/ākonga require sufficient literacy and numeracy levels to read and understand workplace documents and complete assessment tasks.
- Providers will support learners/ākonga during delivery to ensure they have the level of literacy and numeracy required.
