Entry requirements
Entry requirements:
* Applicants should have NCEA Level 2 or equivalent skills and knowledge
* It is recommended learners are employed in the boat sales and brokerage sector prior to enrolment.
English language requirements:
Applicants whose first language is not English, are required to provide any of the following:
* Evidence of successful completion of at least five years of secondary education from a country where the student was taught using English as the medium of instruction.
* Successful completion of vocational certificate or diploma, of which the medium of instruction is English.
* IELTS at least 5.0 overall score or equivalent

What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this micro-credential is to offer formal recognition and training within the boat brokerage sector. It aims to achieve two primary objectives: firstly, to recognise and award the skills and expertise of experienced boat brokers, providing them with an official acknowledgement of their profession's skills and knowledge. Secondly, it seeks to attract new individuals to the profession by offering a structured learning pathway, thereby promoting growth and development within the boat brokerage and boat sales field.
