What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this micro-credential is to provide the extractives industry in New Zealand with recognised training that provides knowledge of the management and use of water, and minimising environmental impacts in the extractives industry.
This micro-credential is for extractive industry employees, particularly those wishing to be appointed to a safety-critical role under the Health and Safety at Work (Mining Operations and Quarrying Operations) Regulations 2016.
All learners must be in employment in the extractives industry.
