Entry requirements
Participants are expected to have had several weeks prior experience in a business that is involved in installing or servicing farm dairy systems. It is suitable for milking machine fitters, technicians and service personnel. No prior qualifications are required. Participants will be expected to be able to read service manuals and perform basic calculations. The course is delivered in English, a translator can be made available.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of the micro-credential is to provide a structured, recognised and quality assured certificate for farm dairy milking machine fitters and service personnel.
The micro-credential provides technicians in the milking machine industry with skills and knowledge in milk delivery systems, regulations and guidelines relating to milking machine and milk silo cleaning systems, milk quality and grade trouble shooting, and cleaning systems evaluation.
