About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
Addiction 101 Plus is introductory-level learning about addiction, designed for ordinary New Zealanders who are not involved in the addiction sector. It gives learners an understanding of addiction and recovery, and tools to recognise and respond to people experiencing these. It has two intended purposes:
1. Develop confidence to recognise, understand and support people experiencing addiction issues.
2. Reduce stigma and discrimination towards people with addiction issues.
