Artificial Intelligence for Business Leaders (Micro-credential)

To be admitted to this micro-credential, all applicants must meet the following requirements:
Achievement of NCEA Level 2,
Or
Successful completion of an NZQA approved qualification at Level 3 or equivalent.
Special and Discretionary admission
Special and Discretionary admission options are also available as outlined in Section 2.9 of Te Kawa Maiorooro Educational Regulatory Framework
In assessing whether to grant special or discretionary admission, the primary focus will be on the applicant's ability to demonstrate a likelihood of succeeding in the micro-credential program.
All decisions will be made at the discretion of a Programme Committee.
Language requirements
All applicants (international and domestic) for whom English, te reo Māori, or New Zealand sign language is not a first language will need to provide evidence that they have an IELTS (Academic) score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5, or equivalent.

This micro-credential is designed for individuals in business leadership roles who seek to integrate generative artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) into their business strategies to drive operational efficiency and productivity. It is intended for learners who wish to understand Gen AI capabilities, identify use cases in personal and business contexts, and develop strategies for implementing Gen AI while managing risks and ethical considerations.
