Entry requirements
18 years of age or older.
Has completed a Level 4 qualification in financial literacy, or has equivalent skills and experience.
International students must have an IELTS General score of 6 overall, or equivalent, with no band less than 5.5.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this micro-credential is to enable learners to extend financial capability by developing the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to plan for long-term financial wellbeing.
Through a culturally-grounded and practical learning journey, learners will build on the financial knowledge and apply advanced strategies for financial planning, investment, retirement preparation, and intergenerational wealth building.
Learners will develop the ability to make informed, values-based financial decisions that align with personal aspirations, whānau priorities, and cultural practices. The programme empowers individuals and families to strengthen their economic resilience, build sustainable financial independence, and confidently navigate life transitions and financial challenges, while contributing to whānau and community prosperity.
