Minimum requirements

Akonga must meet all applicable enrolment eligibility requirements, including those specified by regulatory agencies, namely the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) and Tertiary Education Commission (TEC), under Funding Conditions. Further details can be found in Tikanga Ako v6.1. Akonga must also meet the following programme specific requirements Have successfully completed Te Aupikitanga ki te Reo Kairangi [Kaupae 6], or an equivalent te reo Maori qualification at Level 6, and Attend an interview, or information hui, with the kaiako OR Have successfully completed the pre-entry assessment (PEA) Direct entries only, and Attend an interview, or information hui, with the kaiako.
