MPLS graduates will possess advanced academic knowledge and analytical capabilities in language studies and be able to apply such advanced academic knowledge/capabilities rigorously, analytically and creatively to new situations and problems. They will critically analyse, reflect on and modify effectively their own practice; independently assess and critique new information and research relevant to language studies; show mastery of the reflective practice process in order to work independently and manage their ongoing professional development; work expertly, effectively and collaboratively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
