Successful completion of Year 12 at a New Zealand secondary school including NCEA level 2 maths and physics and level 1 English, or equivalent. An interview may be required.

DipEng [Specialty] holders will be prepared for employment as specialist technicians and technician engineers for the mechanical and production engineering industries. They will have a broad base of engineering knowledge and skills and be prepared to undertake further study in this field.
