Entry requirements

Successful completion of Year 12 at a New Zealand secondary school including 8 credits in a language-rich subject, or equivalent. Applicants should not have English as their first language.

DipEL holders will have the linguistic, cultural and academic knowledge necessary for study at bachelor's degree level. They will have developed skills in reading academic texts and learning academic vocabulary together with experience in giving formal presentations and speaking confidently and persuasively in more informal academic contexts.
