What can I expect out of this qualification?
PGDipAppPsych graduates will meet the requirements for registration as psychologists under the Health Practitioners Competency Assurance Act. Graduates of the Organisational Psychology specialisation will have developed practical skills in applying organisational psychology techniques, such as job analyses, test validation, training needs analysis and evaluation, career counselling and development, organisation development and workplace well-being. Graduates with the Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) specialisation will have developed practical skills in applying behavioural principles with a wide variety of client groups, both child and adult, including those with intellectual and other disabilities, autism spectrum, and childhood-onset behavioural disorders. Graduates with the ABA specialisation also are eligible to sit the examination administered by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board for the internationally recognised credential of Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
