Bachelor of Music or equivalent degree, or the attainment of a level of competence approved by Senate or its representative that is considered equivalent to a degree and appropriate for the programme to be undertaken.

PGDipMus graduates will have undertaken a year's study in specialist and ancillary courses that centre and deepen their musical understanding and their performance skills, and give them the positioning they need for research at Master's level.
