A Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from The University of Auckland or an equivalent degree, with an average grade of B or higher in 90 points in courses at Stage III in the Bachelor of Health Sciences or equivalent degree.

BHSc (Hons) graduates will be critical and reflective thinkers who have an advanced understanding of the issues of population health and the ability to undertake individual research in this field. With their analysis and research skills they will be equipped for a career in health services or for further postgraduate study, including doctoral study.
