Enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy or Doctor of Medicine for at least 12 months or completed the research requirements for Doctor of Education and recommended for admission by their Head of Department and Faculty Dean or nominee.

What can I expect out of this qualification?

MPhil graduates will have successfully completed a research thesis (under supervision) through which they will have shown evidence of advanced knowledge about a specialist field of enquiry and developed and demonstrated advanced academic and intellectual skills. They will be able to address new questions with a rigorous, critical, evidence-based approach.
