BSc in Earth Sciences or Geology, BAdvSci(Hons), BSc(Hons), PGDipSci in a relevant specialisation, or BE or BE(Hons) with a relevant specialisation, with a GPA of 5.0 or higher.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
Graduates of the MEngGeol will have received sound training in both engineering geology and related geoscience subjects and will be equipped with the knowledge and skills required to pursue a career in ground engineering. They will be able to apply their skills and knowledge in an ethical and professional manner. MEngGeol graduates will be sufficiently prepared for an accelerated pathway towards Engineering New Zealand's (formerly IPENZ) 'Chartered Member (Engineering Geologist)' qualification [CMEngNZ (PEngGeol)].
