Entry requirements

Completed the requirements for a Bachelors degree with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA); or a Bachelors degree and the Postgraduate Certificate in Design with a minimum GPA; Or have attained extensive relevant practical, professional or scholarly experience deemed equivalent and performed at an acceptable level in any tests of academic aptitude, portfolio and/or interviews prescribed by Senate or its representative.

What can I expect out of this qualification?

MDes graduates will be proficient in a range of contemporary design methodologies and technologies, and be able to apply advanced design skills and practices to create new products, services and systems on behalf of industry, society and the economy. They will be creative, interdisciplinary, entrepreneurial practitioners able to pursue personal professional goals including progressing to doctoral studies.
