About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
PGDipMaterialsEng graduates?will have a subset of the skills and knowledge to make decisions on materials selection and undertake materials failure analysis, depending on which courses they have taken. Again, students in these programmes will be sought after due to their theoretical knowledge but they will have less experience in the application of the knowledge. Students may transition to the MMaterialsEng programme if desired instead of being awarded a PGDipMaterialsEng qualification, which provides an alternative entry to the Masters programme.
